Advice on toddler with a phobia of vacuum/hoovers?

It's very common in toddlers. They are super loud and can be scary if you don't understand what it's for. My son was SUPER terrified of our vacuum when he was 2 and did the same thing when it was on. So we vacuum when he isn't around and leave it in the corner for him to check out. After a while he got braver and braver and eventually started playing with it and taking out all the attachments. lol He is still pretty nervous when it's on and keeps his distance but doesn't cry and cry anymore. She will outgrow her fear eventually.
