R&S: Do you think we as a society should work to prevent parents from their children?

I hate when people say, "my parents ed me and I turned out fine." What a pathetic answer. is not about loving your children, it's about weakness and control. It's purely saying, "when someone does something wrong, physical pain is the cost..." That's great. In reality, children who misbehave are most likely the result of monkey-see, monkey-do. Since they're not getting the adequate instructions on how to behave properly, they resort to what they know how to do - and where did they learn that from...?
