When you hear about a religious "extremest", usually the term is used to negatively describe someone who has?

my definition of that would be religious rage, haha, meaning they're so into their religion that they got blinded and forgot about the basic moral of their religion. And no i wouldn't want to be label as an extremist because it will lead people to hesitate talking to me, since they don't wanna be pressure.
