Do you agree with this trade VETO by my league manager?

I wanted to trade Dwayne Bowe, who sits on my bench, for Mike Sims-Walker. In our league, they are only separated by 2.5 points so far this season, but my league manager said it was too unfairly balanced, in the other team's favor; meaning that Bowe is supposedly SO much better than Sims-Walker. I'm no expert, but this seems silly to me. I think that Sims-Walker will do well for me. We are talking about my third wide receiver here. What do you think?
