Does your baby go to sleep in a glider/rocking chair?

Am thinking of getting the sovereign glider chair for nursing and so DH can put baby to sleep. My baby is usually fed to sleep (, I know but I love it) but I need to start getting her used to falling asleep with other people. Is this the best way? Any other ideas? If you like the rocking chair idea which one do you have?
