She told me she wants to take it slow?

I found similar posts but not one for my situation so I'm hoping there is someone out there that can give me some insight. I met a girl online and previous to meeting each other we talked for hours. It seemed like everything was going so well as we had so much in common. She has a one year old baby and the father is still in contact with her but they aren't together. We met for the fireworks on Canada Day and that went great. I then asked her to go out for dinner and we did that and had a good night. I stayed over at her house that night and we watched a movie and made out. We then went out of town together a few days later with her friend and her boyfriend for a night and thats when i noticed a change. At night after coming back from the club we were lying there and she told me that she really likes me but is scared and wants to take it slow but wont articulate what that means? This is uncharted territory for me so if someone can help that would be great... Thanks!
