Did Hillary blow her chances with her negative ads?

I think she definitely lost votes by going negative. She is the one, before she had any real competition, who stated over and over that she would not engage in negative campaigning. Now that she is fighting for her political life, she admittedly is throwing out the kitchen sink against Obama. Personally, I don't like it. Candidates should be able to speak on the issues, not attack each other personally.
