Can a beginning player learn as fast on a tenor sax as one can on an alto saxophone?

I always hear that people should begin on alto. Other people say that if you're grown (I'm 34) , then tenor should be no problem. I've played trumpet for the past year, so I feel like I have good strength. I like both alto and tenor. It's very common in toddlers. They are super loud and can be scary if you don't understand what it's for. My son was SUPER terrified of our vacuum when he was 2 and did the same thing when it was on. So we vacuum when he isn't around and leave it in the corner for him to check out. After a while he got braver and braver and eventually started playing with it and taking out all the attachments. lol He is still pretty nervous when it's on and keeps his distance but doesn't cry and cry anymore. She will outgrow her fear eventually.

Treatment for Ammonia burn?

I work at a small pet store, and we get a large amount of feeders in weekly. When we get the feeders in, they are in a small amount of water, and the ammonia is at about 9 inside the bags of the goldfish. The water is bright yellow. It is awful. I get them in the tanks, and the temperature is about 66. None will die for about 3 to 5 days, then all of a sudden we will lose maybe 50 or so a day. The goldfish, and rosy red minnows both die a lot. Easily 40 to 50 a day. We have about 200 small goldfish and rosy reds in each tank and we have 3 tanks for small goldfish and another 3 for rosy reds, and 2 tanks for large goldfish. We have about 100 large gold fish in those two tanks. The water in our system is fine.The temperature is at about 66, and ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates are at 0. The PH is about 7.0. I have done research and am almost positive the goldfish are suffering from ammonia burn. I read that the symptoms of it do not set in for about 3 to 5 days. The goldfish are shipped overnight, and rarely is one dead. They almost always will all be alive when I receive them and will live for 4 days. I am starting to put water conditioner in the tanks, so I can help there slime coat. I am thinking that the slime coat is damaged, and could cause an infection since nothing is protecting them. Should I continue with the water conditioner? I checked and it does add layers to there slime coat. I just want to know what other things I can do to reverse the ammonia burn and stop any infection that could result from the ammonia burn. Would adding air pumps help? I know that the ammonia burns there gills, so it could be hard to take in oxygen, right? Any suggestions as to why they keep dying would be greatly appreciated. Any more information please let me know!

Whats wrong with my water pump?

i returned home from work the other night and my water pump was running which was weird because it usually only runs when someone is taking a shower or doing laundry and my laundry room(where my pump is located) was very warm so the pump must have been running for a wile, then i notice the Air Volume Control piece had a leak coming from a hole it had in it so i flipped the breaker for the pump. Today i replaced the Air Volume Control piece and was hoping i fixed it but of course not, i turn the breaker on and wait a wile so the tank can fill, after about a half hour i knock on the side of the tank to see if it was filled but it sounded hollow, i turned the drainage valve to see if anything would come out but it didn't.so basically my pump runs but it doesn't fill the tank and nothing comes out of any of the faucets and the gauge on my water pump stays at 0. Can someone please help me?

Mastics shouldn t be used for this so I ll guess it s a thin set. The use of a white doodle bug pad and a pc of wood or a plastic scr to remove as much access as possible..Now you ll need a small bottle ( their only sold in 8 ozs) of tile grout ,thin set , effervescent remover. I use it straight w/ a white nylon pad ( carefully) and then rinse well..Seal the lime stone, since it should ve been sealed before installation to prevent this. Should i be concerned about my 32 month old son's communication?

he can say lots of words very clearly, more than i could possibly count. he knows the alphabet, recites nursery rhymes, knows shapes, colors, counts to 40, so he's fine in those areas. it's just that his talking is more about observations ( "cat in tree", "take dada to work", "put on shoes on") rather than about communicating with us. if he wants an apple he will say apple, but if i ask him a question it's like he ignores me. i hear other kids say thoughts from their own heads, like "we saw a dog at the park." if i ask him "what did you see at the park today" it's just nothing. he will follow instructions like go get your shoes, so there is some comprehension there. but if i ask him how old he is or what is his name- nothing. also he talks lots of gibberish. runs around in circles blabbering "words" i can't understand. sometimes i can pick up a word and realize he's reciting a book, but often it's complete gibberish. i'd say he talks 50% clear, unmistakable words, and 50% gibberish. and as far as sentences go i'd say he has around 25 3-4 word "sentences", but again, they are mainly observational and not communicative. sorry if this doesn't make much sense, it's really hard to describe. he's my first and only kid and i'm a stay at home mom so i wonder how on track he is. thanks for listening!

I've been completely off the Nasal spray for a good year and a half, but I have complete blockage of one nostril at all times. It feels like a pressure thing but there's also a lot of mucus aculating in the nasal page. AND it will go from one nostril to the other so it's not just one side that is always plugged, they trade off throughout the day. My doctor and a specialist have both prescribed nasal steroids in the past (Nasonex, Flonaze) but they have done absolutely nothing other than causing my nasal pages to be very dry and bleed. I want to ask my doctor about Endoscopic Nasal Surgery but I don't know if it will work for me. What have people done or had done, to help fix their nasal problems? Thanks! I'm at wits end!

Is a baby bouncer necessary?

Why will my Media Server not connect to my PS3?

I'm a dancer and of course LOVE to dance when we go out, but my b/f will not dance! My roomates dog ate a pot product?

My roommates are idiots I just want to state that right of the bat. Anyhow there dog ate some intense pot quiche I made. It got sick no duh....teach the dog to not eat out of the trash really. Numark or Stanton Turntables - Which are better?

Im thinking of buying some turntables in the $200-$250 range for each of them and i cant decide between Stanton or Numark turntables. I am leaning towards the Numark TT200. If you want to get rid of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere the best way is to get the oceans to eat it. I wouldn't worry about running out of hydrocarbons any time soon. There is pleanty of source rock full of oxygen deprived carbon based rocks still producing new hydrocarbons. Be sure when your oil well stops producing oil to plug the formations up tight with cement they will slowly start to refill again. Finally I would like to say that there are no big holes in the ground full of oil. An oil reservoir is just pore spaces in rocks that are filled with oil and natural gas. As the oil is pumped out ground water fills in right behind it. Drilling oil out of the ground has no effect on the temperature in the Earth's core. Heat is transported from the core by convection in the Earth's mantle. The heat comes up places where it meets the least resistance, mainly the mid-ocean ridges, and volcanos.
